The course

Great condition,
all year round.

Designed by Sandy Herd and shaped by the ideas of Alister MacKenzie, James Braid and Howard Swan.

Traditional design

Hornsea Golf Club moved to its present site in 1908. The first seven holes run outward towards the iconic water tower before a double loop leads to Hornsea’s famous inward stretch—possibly the finest six finishing holes in the county.

Situated on the Yorkshire coast, the course blends links character, gorse and wind-blasted thorn with gently undulating parkland and extensive tree belts.
